What you need to manifest weight loss results easily and effortlessly

Weight loss, isn’t it just damned hard work? Do you also have that nagging feeling of powerlessness over your food, your weight, and your eating habits? Let me pose a truth; just for a minute: You are more powerful than you let yourself feel, right now. You can manifest a healthy right-sized body.

But oh, stop! Do you now hear a small voice that tells you that this is never going to happen or that you are not worth to have such a body? That you are not allowed to have it or that having a beautiful slender body is a bit scary?

All this, the hard thoughts and the underlying reasons not to lose weight make it hard to lose weight but most of all, it makes us unreceptive for what we know and the nudges we get from our Higher Self and the spirit guides around us.

Maybe this connection between weight loss and spirituality is too far-fetched for you, but both subjects are very much connected. I sincerely believe that when you think “hard”, you get “hard” as in a diet that is hard to follow, or “that dieting is just too hard”.

What I would love for you to experience is that you allow yourself to get results effortlessly; to get into a flow and get results with ease. If this causes a short circuit in your mind (a.k.a. resistance), then you have some work to do on the thoughts and ideas you tell yourself around weight loss.

You are very powerful, and you can create anything you want. There you have it, so stop the damn struggle. Stop thinking that you cannot do it. You can, because you are a powerful soul.

Feel good about your goal

The first thing when you are in struggle mode is that you are in it with all your attention. All you can think about is how hard it is, how bad you want that certain food and how much you desire that lower weight. If this is you, you are not alone. I used to do it as well.

But switch those thoughts 180 degrees. Imagine that you have reached that amazing result you secretly want to reach and see yourself in the mirror. How does your body look? Amazing, right? But that is not enough yet, you need to take it one step further: how does it make you feel to have that body, to experience it, to see it?

Try to take it further than “amazing”. Are you happy? How happy? So happy that you could cry that you have finally reached this amazing weight? How does it change your experience of life? Does it change anything? Does it feel

  • Lighter?
  • Liberated?
  • Elevated?
  • Proud?
  • Beautiful?

Get into the feeling of how reaching that dream weight makes you feel. Write it all down in your journal. Feeling the result is the first very important step to make it all happen. It is that feeling that you constantly want to connect with to create it.

I mean, why would you even take real heart-centered and aligned action toward a goal if it feels bad to create some results. Taking action from a good feeling is so much easier than feeling bad about it.

What I want for you is that you do things without resistance, so it is important to take the resistance off weight loss. Weight loss can be a smooth process, as I have found out. Knowing this, years earlier could have made my journey so much easier.

When I ask myself how I want to feel I get the chance to weigh all my experiences and even my decisions toward this question. My answer to that important question is: “I want to feel joyful”.

So when I am in a certain situation and I ask myself: “Is this joyful?” and my answer is no, then I know I need to make a decision. This way I have made many important decisions lately but I have also changed my weight loss experience, for my weight loss experience did not bring me joy. It brough me stress and a lot of obsession.

When I started to ask what I needed to make it more joyful, I received many important intuitive answers. A couple of them came down to the fact that I had made weight loss too important in my life. I forgot to enjoy life because I was only focused on losing weight. I was manifesting weight loss results the other way around!

I hear you when you now say: “But Jolanda, my life is very hard, and there are so many things that weigh me down right now. In reply to that, I say to you that I’m sorry that your life is hard and that losing weight is hard, but you can choose to feel better. No matter what happens to you or around you. Everything that happens is a mere thing until you take it and attach feelings and emotions to it.

I often say to my clients: “It is what it is. Your upset will not make it any better, so instead, ask yourself how you can feel better about it.” Gratitude often is an important aspect to feeling better, even about a bad situation.

Which story do you tell yourself?

The story you tell and the words you use shape your results. If you think it is hard, you make it hard. So you end up in lots and lots of situations in which you constantly feel you have to make hard choices. The struggle is awful.

The opposite story is so much easier. Imagine for a short while about a lunch that makes your mouth water. Stop, I mean a healthy lunch… I think you have seen those beautiful images online of food that looks so great that you want to eat it. Food porn, I call it. It is hard to feel deprived when you choose to eat food like that. Try not to think of the word “diet” but about “healthy lunch” instead. Isn’t that a whole different way of looking at your food pattern?

If you let yourself eat food that does not excite you then you are doing yourself a huge disservice and play a role in future weight gain.

Instead think of making weight loss decisions like a smooth sailing trip, on which it all goes effortlessly and easy flowing. You plan your food and the next day you eat it. Just that and nothing more or unplanned. It is what it is.

Choose your beliefs around weight loss

When you start to listen to what you are telling yourself about weight loss, you suddenly hear what a load of bullshit you manage to sell yourself (sorry about the choice of words but I sometimes need to put it that harshly).

I mean: it is exceptional how hard you make it. But it is not true.

You do not have to believe that it is hard work to lose weight. To get rid of certain believes I advise you to use forgiveness and release techniques on your stories. Practice forgiveness toward others and yourself because it is YOU that has been holding yourself captive for so long! If you need help releasing your old feelings, then please do so, because it will keep popping its head up to plague you.

You can now fill the space you have created with stories you choose to believe.

Choose to believe

For that, you connect to the powerful image of you and how you want to feel when you have lost weight. Connect to how it feels and how your life will be when that happens. Connect to what you will do when it is so.

That super-healthy version of you thinks differently than you do now. What thoughts does this version of you have about weight loss but also about life in general? Does she think it is all too hard or does she think differently?

Yes, she thinks differently! Which specific thoughts does she think? What does she do? And what does she create?

Write all those things down as if it is already so in the present time. Also, write down how it makes you feel that it is so. Be very specific about the tiny details how the super-healthy version of you thinks. Be very creative about how it feels.

One very important thing is not to fill in how it all manifests in your life. Often the Universe has a different idea of how to make things happen in your life. Let the Universe do the magic; you only have to feel good about the result you expect.

For example: “I feel so grateful and energized having lost all that weight. I feel now so much more confident. Confident enough to … and … My life has changed so much, and I feel … and …

Everything in your life

Do this with everything in your life that you want to change. Life is not just about weight loss; it is about so much more. It is about your relationship, your kids, your work or business and even about money.

When you have done that, read them out to yourself every day. Not just reading them out loud like a machine but reading them out loud with the feelings you want to experience. I do this every day, and when I hit the right note, it sends shivers over my spine. That is when I know I’ve nailed the feeling bit.

Expect magical things to happen when you get creative and feel good about it.

Ask what you need

Now that you have the feeling and thinking part up and running, you can start asking for what you want. We so often feel blocked in the wanting phase of everything, but this leaves us in a feeling of “I want that because I do not have it”.

If you want it, ask for it. How else can the Universe help you manifest weight loss? Do you think they are psychic or something? 🤣

So, why don’t you start by just clearly stating how you want to feel about your body and your weight? I want to feel proud and sexy. I want to feel confident. I want to feel hot. #daretoask!

Take aligned action

And then lastly, when you tell the Universe how you want to feel, do not expect the Universe to play the role of a Fairy Godmother who uses some magic and sprinkles some glitters to give you what you want.

The Universe will send you opportunities to get what you want:

  • an ad on your Facebook timeline in which your favorite coach will tell you that she is open for three clients with 50% off;
  • an ad in the paper for your dream job;
  • or a voucher for 40% off for your desired running shoes;
  • a tip in this blog which turns out your key toward weight loss

But all of these things are worthless if you do not do anything. You need to take aligned action. If you want to lose weight, you still have to throw away that bag of chips; because between you, me and the Fairy Godmother: it is not healthy for you!

Your effort to manifest weight loss is not something like following a recipe in the kitchen. It is not a list of actions you have to follow, and all will be well. Some actions are easier for you than others because many of them are messed up by the way you think about doing them or the results you think you create with them.
